The 11th winner of the 1000 Guineas, held on Thursday 6th May 1824 over the Ditch Mile, was Cobweb (5/2), a bay filly by Phantom out of Filagree, owned by the 5th Earl of Jersey. A field of 4 runners contested the race which was worth 1100 Guineas (Equivalent to £138,600 in 2017)
